Nov. 26, 1928: the beginning of "six wonderful, unforgettable days," declared the advertisement for the long-anticipated opening of Park Ridge's brand new Pickwick Theatre. Modern movie-goers can get a taste of those unforgettable days 80 years ago when the Pickwick shows "Lilac Time," the very first film shown in the theater.
